Invoicing is one of the most time consuming and laborious activities that a practice manager faces. This is often made even harder by insurance companies and corporates who demand preferential pricing and only the use of specific products or items.
EMMA was designed from the outset to include medical billing software with a Contract Management Scheme (CMS) to work on a contract and eligibility model which gives you the most flexibility possible. EMMA understands policies and contracts that allow you not only to define a price for a product or appointment, but also limits and rules. These rules allow the price and availability of a product to be set up front thus minimising invoice errors.
INVOICE TEMPLATES
The system is setup with branded invoices templates which can then be adapted by the user to reflect the fields they wish their invoicees to see.
Invoice when you want
The system allocates a charge to a patient, corporate or insurance company on appointment creation, giving you a real time view of your cash flow position. When you create the invoice is up to you, this could be as the patient leaves, daily or monthly.
Batch invoicing
EMMA has a feature that allows charges within a time frame to be swept up in to invoices with the click of a button. Invoices can then be produced in batch at the end of the day or month saving you precious administration time.
Patient billing
Because patients can be tied to insurance companies or corporates, you can offer enormous benefits to your patients and clients immediately. Patients who log in are offered a choice of either booking their appointment through the normal private plan or, if they are a member of a corporate or insurance company, either of those schemes.

The patient simply chooses the appropriate option and then is presented with only the options that the particular contact dictates.
This effectively makes it impossible for your patients to book something that the provider will not pay for!
