EMR

EMMA offers a complete Electronic Medical Records system with coding, forms, prescriptions and HL7 data exchange for the sending and receipt of pathology. It is the most sophisticated patient record system available today. Not only can you design your own forms, but you can also design your own questions and how the answers should be structured. These can then be tied into a form which may be attached to an appointment type. Patient facing forms allow patients to fill in questions online prior to the appointment freeing up valuable clinician time.

Journal

The journal contains the entire electronic health record and history of the patient where complete consultations can be recorded with Read Coding and any data entered on the patient forms is recorded. We maintain a complete audit trail of all entries and also allow ‘Locking’ of consultations where further privacy is required. Journal entries may be prioritised and summarised to ensure that important items stand out in colour.

Automated Clinical Assessment

This tool, in essence, allows you to design your own reports based on data entered. EMMA will not only report the content of the forms, but also report content based on multiple forms and then insert content based on the actual interpretation of the data contained therein. E.g.: If you include a weight and a height question, EMMA will calculate the BMI of the patient and then interpret the value for you and actually include clinical advice. This means that EMMA will preformat and deliver most of the text you would otherwise enter, allowing you to add in a few sections on your own if necessary. This saves you time and creates a very good impression for your patients.
