The system allows you to make prescriptions within the EMR. It records all previous prescriptions and repeat prescriptions can be made at the click of a button. The patients current medication is shown in the record. All prescriptions are printed on branded templates with a unique identification number attached for audit purposes and to prevent duplication.
The entire BNF (updated every month) is also provided with interactions so allergies are spotted and highlighted before prescriptions can be issued. A local formulary (for each of your clinics) is available with individual pricing based on our contracts system. This allows you to discount drugs to certain companies or insurers depending on the arrangements you have made with them.
