Robbie Hughes: Business and Strategy director
Robbie founded Dynamic Systems, his first company, in 2004 and Ascensus was created one year later in order to launch EMMA. Working in IT with medical firms in the City of London, Robbie found that there was a gap in the market for a good practice management system that combined technology with business work flow requirements.
Robbie is responsible for new product development, co-ordinating new architecture build and support, developing new business relationships and markets, as well as developing ongoing business strategy and marketing with David.
Robbie has extensive experience in IP systems, Advanced databases, VoIP systems, Software development, process and workflow design as well as an intimate knowledge of the healthcare sector both in terms of trends and key players. Robbie read Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial University
david perrin: managing director
David is responsible for running the commercial and operational side of the business as well as jointly looking at business strategy and marketing with Robbie.
David previously worked in the Corporate Finance department at Dresdner Kleinwort and prior to that trained as an accountant at Deloitte. David is ACA qualified, read Aeronautical Engineering at Bristol University and is also trained in Lean Engineering.
In his spare time he enjoys sailing, golf and travelling.
daN LAMbert: head of software development
Dan is the lead Technical Architect behind the development work at Ascensus. He is a specialist at Object oriented code and codes Emma and has developed the current suite of EMMA products in the last 3 years. He speaks Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, PHP, COBOL, Scheme, Ada, ML as well as SQL (most variants)..
