Robbie Hughes, Chief Executive Officer

Robbie is responsible for new product development, co-ordinating new architecture build and support, developing new business relationships and markets, as well as developing ongoing business strategy and marketing.

Robbie has extensive experience in IP systems, Advanced databases, VoIP systems, Software development, process and workflow design as well as an intimate knowledge of the healthcare sector both in terms of trends and key players. Robbie read Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial University.

Dan Lambert, Chief Technical Officer

Dan is the lead Technical Architect behind the development work at Ascensus. He is a specialist at Object oriented code and has developed the current suite of EMMA products in the last 3 years. He speaks Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, PHP, COBOL, Scheme, Ada, ML as well as SQL. Dan studied Computer Science at York University..

Emily Boyd: Head of Client Operations

Emily is responsible for overseeing all post-sales customer operations including new client implementations, consultancy services, customer services and technical support.

She brings a wide range of private, public, and third sector experience to Ascensus within the disciplines of project, change and process management at a senior management level.  She has experience of ERP and systems design and implementation, process change initiatives, and project managing the delivery of several multi-million pound public-funded initiatives.  Emily is a PRINCE2 Practitioner, FITS/ITIL Practitioner and has studied Social Sciences with the Open University.

Massimo Barbato: Business Development Manager

Mass joined Ascensus in February 2010, prior to Ascensus Mass worked as the Business Development Manager / Sales Manager for a management consultancy based in London. Mass has also worked for a range of start up and mature IT and Medical software companies in the UK and overseas.

Mass is responsible for all commercial activities including new business, developing and maintaining existing client relationships and implementing the business growth strategy. Mass also oversees all marketing activities with support from Simone.
