Using our RIS service, clinicians can check appointment availability and book the patient in for a scan from one screen.  When the appointment is confirmed the worklist is pushed to the diagnostic modality. Once the scan is completed email notification is sent to a specific reviewer or pool of reviewers. The Reviewer logs in to a remote portal to create the report. The report and related images are stored within the EMR and are available as soon as the scan and report are completed.
